Convert an Instagram account to a Business or Creator account
Instagram offers three profile types: personal, business, and creator. All Instagram accounts start off as personal by default. You can choose to convert a personal profile to a business or creator profile at any time. Due to limitations from Instagram, only business accounts will be able to connect to Curated Social for publishing
Note: To connect to Curated Social, your Instagram account must be connected to a Facebook Page. You will be able to post to them seprately, or not even connect the Facebook Page if you don't want to, but the permissions to manage your Instagram profile are granted to Curated Social through Facebook. This is a requirement from Facebook (which owns Instagram).

If you have an Instagram personal or creator account, follow these steps to convert it to a business account in Instagram:
- In the Instagram app on your phone, go to your profile, and then click the menu button on the top right.
- Select Settings, and then select Account.
Scroll to the bottom and click the "Switch Account Type" or "Switch to a Professional Account" text link, then "Switch to Business Account" or "Switch to Creator Account"
- Follow the prompts to finish converting your account for a Business or Creator Account.
