Connecting Instagram
Before you begin
Note: Instagram offers three profile types: Personal, Business, and Creator. Instagram only allows Business & Creator Accounts to be connected for third-party publishing.
To connect Instagram for publishing in Curated Social, make sure you have the following:
- An Instagram Business or Creator Account connected to a Facebook Page.
- If you still have a personal profile, see Convert an Instagram account to a Business or Creator Account
- If you already have a business profile, see Connect an Instagram account to a Facebook Page.
- Management permissions on the Facebook Page the Instagram account is connected to:
- For Classic Page types: Your Facebook account must have an Admin or Editor Page role on the connected Facebook Page
- For New Page types: Your Facebook account must have Full or partial control on the connected Facebook page
- If the Facebook Page is an asset in Facebook Business Manager, you also need management access to the page in the Business Manager account.

Connecting the Instagram business or creator account
To Connect Instagram to Curated Social for direct posting, scheduling, and/or Autopilot, navigate to the Social Media Profiles page from the main menu.
Once there, click the Facebook & Instagram button
This will bring up the Facebook login screen or "Continue as" screen
Once logged in, you'll be able to choose which Instagram accounts to use with Curated Social (if you have more than one).
Be sure to click the "Connect Selected Account (s)" button on the next screen to complete the connection.
That's it! Your Instagram Business account(s) should now be connected to Curated Social 🎉
