Resolution to Instagram publishing issues November 2021

NOTE: This article mainly applies to the subset of Instagram users who had publishing issues starting on or after November 12, 2021.

If you were having publishing issues to just Instagram, or have received the error message "Publishing failed. Your Instagram account needs to be reconnected", please follow the steps below to reconnect your Instagram account.

Note: When reconnecting, do not delete your account first. This will remove all scheduled posts, autopilot configurations, etc. Just follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Social Profiles page: https://app.curated.social/integrations
  2. Click on the "Facebook & Instagram" button at the top
  3. On the Facebook window that pops up, click on "Continue as {your name}" to reconnect with the same accounts you already had selected

That's it!
Now try posting to Instagram. If successful, any future scheduled posts should now publish successfully, and you may reschedule any previously failed ones.

Further Troubleshooting:
If any of your accounts now say "The connection for this profile has been revoked or disconnected." or they don't show up at all, repeat the above steps but on step 3, select "Edit Settings" instead of "Continue as...".  Then make sure all the accounts you want connected are selected and follow the prompts to finish connecting.

If you have reconnected and publishing still fails, please contact support to let us know.
